Why I Took Up the Aerial Hoop

I had stopped believing in myself

I don't know when it happened

I don't know what did it

I just know that I was faced with a choice

To continue living or to die to this physical body

My husband felt it

Miles between us, but he felt it

The choicepoint

The pivot

That was in ceremony on the Winter Solstice 2020

For years I had half lived

Half loved myself

Half taken up the space I needed

And then I was given the choice

To go all in

Or to release it all.

So I went all in

To creating space

For creation to bloom again

To fanning the flames

For my Soul to sing again

To showing up fully, unedited

So that I could be and thrive and serve

I said yes to it all. Again and again and again.

And so can you.
